Description

Choose this underlay if your floor is particularly cold, such as uninsulated tile, stone or concrete.

Thermal Insulating Wool-Rich Rug Underlay is made from 100% recycled/upcycled 80/20 wool carpets and contains around 80% wool. It naturally insulates your Rugbuddy from a cold floor while providing extra cushioning for a cosy and comfortable feel. With a 2.75 TOG rating, this underlay ensures your RugBuddy efficiently warms the rug, not the floor.

  • Perfect if you’re looking for warmth and sound insulation
  • Prolongs the life of your rug
  • Eco-friendly. Wool is a natural fibre which is safe for the planet. This underlay is made using 100% recycled fibres and can be 100% recycled after use, so a brilliantly environmentally friendly underlay too
  • Construction – 100% recycled/upcycled 80/20 wool carpets
  • Density – 1050g/m2
  • Thickness – 10mm
  • TOG rating – 2.75 TOG

Please note that this underlay is primarily intended for insulating cold floors and does not offer anti-slip properties. If you find that the rug slips excessively in use, we recommend that you add a layer of anti-slip underlay.

Not suitable for direct use on LVT floors such as Karndean and Amtico – to prevent discolouration of your floor, please ensure that you place a barrier between this underlay and the floor. Any anti-slip rug underlay would work well as a barrier.

Also, please note that sizes 180x274cm, 240x274cm and 360x274cm are supplied in 2 pieces. Simply place them next to each other. If you find that they move apart in use, use carpet tape to stick them together.

Manufactured in the UK using 80% wool fibres and 20% synthetic fibres (100% recyclable) which can include nylon and polypropylene, which help strengthen the structure of the wool rich rug underlay to give it a consistent finish.
